“Sinkholes, Strawberries,” has been awarded the prestigious Pushcart Prize! This award recognizes the best writing published by independent presses and literary magazines in the last year. The Pushcart Prize is widely considered one of the highest honors in American literature.

The winning pieces are compiled and published into annual anthologies, a tradition that has continued uninterrupted since 1976. “Sinkholes, Strawberries” will be included in the 2027 Pushcart Prize Anthology.
