My short story, “The Acts of Kings,” is now available in the annual issue of Reed Magazine! It’s currently available to order as a print copy or e-book. This is a powerful story about the height and depth of a father’s love, set simultaneously in ancient Syria and amidst the modern-day Syrian Civil War.

My short story, “Archimedes,” has been nominated by Ponder Review for a Pushcart Prize! This award recognizes the best writing published by small presses in the last year. The Pushcart Prize is highly coveted and influential, and I am honored to be nominated. Recipients for the next issue will be selected this coming year.
My short story, “The Beckoning Green,” is now available in The Dark Magazine! It’s free to read or listen to online. This is my favorite piece from 2019–a story about a girl with a unique physical condition growing up under the cloud of three American foreign wars.
